I agree. Five is not enough! Police, OMD, Pet Shop Boys, Allman Bros., Lynyrd Skynrd, Styx, Chicago, Garth, ... I could go on all day! (As you can see I like a variety)

Here, I think we could narrow this down: What's THE BEST concert you've ever seen? Why?

I agree five is DEFINATELY Not enough!.. but.. in no particular order.... Beatles Led Zeppelin Fleetwood Mac Steely Dan Allman Brothers Band Beastie Boys.. ;) Van Morrison Niel Diamond (no making fun!.. I LOVE him!!) Dave Mathews Band Phish I could go on and on and on..... sorry couldn't pick just five.. and I'm sure I'll be flooded with many many more as the day goes on! ;)

Julian Cope The Church New Order Red House Painters Echo & The Bunnymen Yes, the fact that four out of five of these produced the bulk of their work in the '80s definitely dates me a little bit.

I admit I was once a Smith's fan, but got to the point where I just couldn't stand to hear Morrissey whine anymore!

True, he can put on some serious whining. You can't repeat play a Smiths CD without feeling like someone ran over your dog.

Steely Dan The Doors Led Zeppelin Hall and Oates George Thorogood It's really hard to narrow it down to 5. I like Big Band music like Ella Fitzgerald, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Sinatra, Dean Martin, Duke Ellington. I also enjoy oldies from The Righteous Brothers, The Beach Boys, Supremes, etc. Then there is always Ricky Nelson, The Stones, and the like. Sometimes I listen to newer music like Outkast, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, DJ Quick, Foo Fighters. Too much to list. It would be easier for me to post a copy of my ipod playlists!

I forgot about Sinatra, love him too ... And Simon and Garfunkel ... darn ... Karen, I like the Beach Boys, too and I got made fun of all the time in college for that.

Dave Matthews at the Gorge. He's an awesome showman. And the Gorge is just cool!! If you're ever in eastern Washington go there.
