First I will list 5 of my "newest" favorite bands only here:
1) Southern Culture on The Skids .....(anyone else heard of these guys??....."Dirt Track Date"??....or "Plastic Seat Sweat"??)
2) The String Cheese Incedent
3) Stout ......(a "somewhat" local Jam Band from Memphis......their album "On The Rocks" is very nice!)
4) Phish
5) Dave Mathews
......Now 5 of my all time favorite bands (not including any of the above 5):
1) The Grateful Dead
2) Merle Saunders (and the Rainforest Band)
3) Bob Dylan
4) Neil Young
5) Tom Petty
I also like many other bands as well of course!!....Somebody else mentioned "Hot Tuna"....I like them a lot......I think a lot of them played with Jefferson Airplane.......I also love CCR/ John Fogerty a great deal.
