More on kicking

Alright I need to work on my kick, too. So let's get a thread going (yeah this should probably go in the workout thread but I am too lazy to put it there) about kick sets, drills and workouts. I'll start. We do a lot continual kick. For example, a 10 minute kick (it hurts!) with all out and moderate alternated. Usually our coach yells out what to do. You can do this on your own too. The all out sections are never more than a few (20 seconds maybe long).

I was only on a team for a very short time; two months. We most kicked 500m flutters for time. Occasionaly we'd do 400 IMs also. Now that I swim all by my lonesome I avoid kicking at all costs. :D But I have started incorporating it in my regimen little by little. I'm a terrible kicker also, so by no means would I recomend takingon my approach. This is something I am begining to work on so I'll certainly be following this thread.
