I saw someone post this picture in r.s.s. Apparently, the guy was upset that he wasn't let in a pool in Czechoslovakia where he was visiting (he's from the U.S.) Have you seen these kind of signs elsewhere? Not that I'm against them, I'm perfectly fine wearing the "approved" attire. img240.exs.cx/.../261zo.jpg

I think it's time for me to back out of this discussion. I can get pretty charged up about this topic and I don't want to anger anyone here. I consider all of you swimming buddies, and I want to keep it that way!:D It's more fun that way!:D Soooo, on the original topic.... as an American, I had the funny feeling about speedos when I first started swimming. I wore the "shorts style" trunks to swim for about a year. I don't compete, so it wasn't an issue. Then, about a year and a half ago, I bought the "jammer style" suit. I couldn't believe the difference in my speed. I love them. When my current supply is worn out, I will buy a speedo style. I used to think they were weird. But no more.
