I saw someone post this picture in r.s.s. Apparently, the guy was upset that he wasn't let in a pool in Czechoslovakia where he was visiting (he's from the U.S.) Have you seen these kind of signs elsewhere? Not that I'm against them, I'm perfectly fine wearing the "approved" attire.

While I don't disagree that the Russian winter had an impact on Hitler I would most certainly argue that the US involvement in the war was a bigger influence. Russia actually dragged their feet a lot and did not want to help out Churchill and Roosevelt and their respective nations.
You certainly won't catch me vacationing in Moscow in winter. You also can't convince me that the winter had a bigger impact. We celebrate D-day over here in June, yet I don't think that everyone packed up after we landed in Normandy and went home ... it's never that easy. There are always a ton of factors that go into winning a war. It is not a single battle, single winter, or single person.
Also, the Germans had their supplies cut off by who? The Americans! (and a bunch of other useless countries ... again, kidding!)
