I saw someone post this picture in r.s.s. Apparently, the guy was upset that he wasn't let in a pool in Czechoslovakia where he was visiting (he's from the U.S.) Have you seen these kind of signs elsewhere? Not that I'm against them, I'm perfectly fine wearing the "approved" attire.

Actually in Europe there's a totally different approach to wearing shorts and briefs.While briefs here in America might raise the question of you being gay(that is the stupidest thing I have ever encountered) in Europe you will most likely look as an "outsider" wearing shorts at the beach or ESPECIALLY in the pool, because the majority will wear briefs.it is just a cultural thing.Before I came to America from my native Russia I never wore shorts for swimming(open water or pool), because noone does!!!If you think about it, I think it makes sense - shorts are not for swimming...
And it definitely does not make you gay overseas when you wear briefs...
