A study reported in this month's Journal of the American College of Cardiology showed that rats who previously swam six days weekly for seven weeks (90 min. sessions) had smaller scars and better heart function (compared to couch potato rats) when given an experimental heart attack.
The article didn't mention whether they used kick boards, which are of course evil, but I believe they were unshaved.
I had a full blown experimental heart attack this morning during practice when our coach took out his apparent frustration over being up at 6 am and sick out on us.
