I have been swimming for a while now and there is one thing I can never explain - I will always swim better towards the evening than in the first half of the day.It always feels a lot better swimming in the evening, too.I think I am also faster in the evening. Can anybody explain why that happens?
I mainly work out in the early AM
rarely in the PM
but I did 2 a days in high school and college plus
when I swam in prelim / final type meets
i tended to swim faster at night in both competition and practice
as for why,
there's so many factors that come into play it's hard to know which one or ones to pin it on.
Maybe I was just more psyched
Maybe because I was more warmed up or alert
