I realize this has little to do with swimming but I thought some of the people on this board might have tried this. I know it would be much slower but I don't want to buy a USB card for a PC that will be replaced within a year.

yes it works fine, just a little slow. When is Apple going to create a "Swimming Ipod"? The Shuffle model would be an excellent protoype for a waterproof mp3 player that is practical.
