If they are in austin I don't have to travel real far
It's fun to race kids half my age or more
a few weeks ago I went 2:01.8 in the 200 IM
25 minutes before that I swam a 4:58 500 free
here's the splits
25.6 31.8 35.4 28.9
effort wise I took the race out really easy, and
tried to finish strong
You have some really good times there. good splits too. I am hoping by next year I can do those kind of times. I quit swimming in 1997 and started again in 2002. I started masters meets in 2004. It is just taking forever for me to get in any kind of shape but I will take it one meet at a time and I will get there eventually. But, it is fun to do swim meets again.
