All three of my VERY fair-skinned children (under age 5) spent a lot of time in the CA sun last summer. I always put Waterbabies on them. I think it was SPF 45 or 50. I used it as well and really liked it- not greasy, etc. I also bought a "stick" sunblock for easy application to the face. That was by BananaBoat I think. No freckles or burns for anyone. I also started to adhere to the directions on the bottle too, about applying at least 10 min before going in the water. No problems :)
