I was wondering if someone uses a product to help with dry mouth. I have tried drinking lots of water but that doesn't help except that I want to pee more.
When I swim more than around 600 yards, my mouth is very dry. To the point that I start coughing. Now, what I do now is, I turn on my back (or breaststroke) and get my cough out and then turn back around, but from then on, I have to cough so much and I have to keep turning around (or breaststroke), it's not productive.

I thought of this also, but I'm going to do a triathlon so I can't really carry a bottle with me :)

I take a water bottle with me and take a SIP (not a swig, not a gulp) of water each time I stop. (Too much water will get me bloated.) Even if I only am doing 50s and have 5 seconds in between. Sip on every stop. I swish it around before swallowing it. Moisten my whole mouth over and over throughout the workout.
I drink 32 ounces over the course of a one-hour-plus workout.
If I don't do this, my mouth gets dried out too.
