I figured for sure that somebody would have posted about him. Anyhow, it is a pretty sad set of circumstances for this poor guy. He has his whole life ahead of him, with or without swimming, and now because of a snowboarding accident he may never walk or kick again.

One of the things that has always impressed me about Dave is the willingness he has had to share his swimming knowledge with others. My first contact with him was a couple of years ago when he gave me some advice on my breaststroke on a message board (yes, for free!). It's really sad that something like this should have hit him, particularly during the prime years of his swimming career! But if we all pray, maybe something will happen!
It sounds like it's best for swimmers to stay away from water when it's not liquid.
