Since I've been out of the water, pretty much, for the last couple weeks and I'll be starting back up Monday I thought this would be a good time to throw my suit in the washer. Has anyone ever read the tag on their suit? I laughed when I read it "wash after every use in cold water." Come on now! Who's going to do that? I'm pretty sure I've owned suits that never saw the inside of a washing machine.
Does anyone actually wash their suits regularly? Maybe I'm just gross :D
My workout suits are Tyr nylon suits. They last forever regardless of how you treat them. In blac, fading is less of a problem. My Fastskin suit is another matter.I rinse it after the meet in non-chlorinated water.(We have a well so that is easy,but I think that really prolongs suit life.)
