If I was a coach, I would have to consider his actions when selecting future relay teams. I would also have to consider his incredible speed and ability. Weigh it all together and ..... well, despite the fact I don't like what he did (the relay thing), I would be hard pressed to leave him off a relay in the future if I wanted to win.
And he has accomplished many remarkable things. I doubt if anyone would argue against that. I certainly have a bit of a jealous streak for anyone with that kind of ability.
I also agree with Arm. I don't like what Hall did, but boy did it ever get us talking. I also hate the Yankees, Cowboys, Lakers, Mr. Moose..... you name it. But these teams certainly generate a lot of interest in their sport. I agree that ultimately this may good for the sport of swimming in a sort of backwards, convoluted kind of way.:confused:
