Does anyone have expert knowledge as to diving from a 3 meter platform with swimming goggles. Is there any danger to the eyes?

I'm no expert on this, but have done it when I was a kid. My suggestion - don't. It hurts. I imagine an injury could happen.
Question for you - why would you dive from a 3 meter platform with goggles? (other than being a kid just playing around a pool and not wanting to take goggles off)
