I like IM. The variety is great. 100 is too short - you don't get to make a turn and continue with the same stroke. 200 is ideal, but 400 is ok too.
I figure a good IM is the best way to tell who is the best "all around" swimmer.:)
Does anyone have any theories on the unusual results of this poll? Clearly the 200IM is not the most popular event at meets, and the 400IM is not as popular as the 50 free!
Perhaps only the swimming obsessed (like me :)) hang around on these boards answering polls, and perhaps we have atypical tastes in events?
