I'm going to be working in New York City in a month's time, for about 6-9 months.Does anybody know a good pool that I can swim in that is centrally located in NYC.I'm going to be based work-wise aroound Wall Street.Do they have public pools like we have in the UK or do you have to join a fitness club???:D

Pools/pool time are hard to come by in the city. The best pool in my opinion is Asphalt Green ( http://www.asphaltgreen.org/ ), but it is pretty far up on the East Side. McBurney YMCA has a pool, they are on W14th. If you want to workout with a team check out the club I swim with http://www.redtidenyc.org, and I found this list of pools http://www.citidex.com/891.htm. Let me know if I can be of any more help.
