Well, at least Ion he isn't a surfer blond hair dude or a Mexican in a low rider.
I lived in South Texas for a number of years. By "Mexican" do you mean a Mexican national or a Mexican-American (you know, an immigrant like most of us)? The term Hispanic covers all of the bases (although most don't drive low riders).
Kind of a pet peeve of mine, but in 50 years non-Caucasians will represent more than 50% of the US population.

Please re-read my post- I didn't say that MS Word didn't recognise the word (as being mispelled), but stated that it wasn't a dictionary.
...
Well I did say that Microsoft Word does recognize the word, didn't I?
I also said that it doesn't recognize the word 'recognise' that you keep employing, didn't I?
So learn the legitimate words in the U.S. because you are in the U.S..
Oh Dear! Confront him with the truth and it goes unanswered! Could it be that I have actually earned the honor of being placed on HIS ignore list?
Could someone else ask the mighty ion to try a few other un-words out on MS? Or to define the word? I'm still curious!

Beza - you'd figure a simple spell check or web search would come naturally to someone as highly paid in the high tech industry as you.

But you said that I am not highly paid.
Me I said that you are bogus and that I am highly paid.
I think that you are confused here...

Or, I guess maybe you aren't what you proclaim. I suspect your next promotion will be to the hot food line at the Intel cafeteria.
...
Sure, I am a foreigner who works at the cafeteria because Intel cannot find Americans who can work at the cafeteria.
Go right ahead in stupidity.

For the record, the following sites/source DO NOT recognize unqualifications:
Microsoft Word 2002, SP-2
Microsoft Office XP
dictionary.com - did not recognize un qualification or un-qualifications
miriamwebster.com
...
But Microsoft Word 9.0.2720 does it, right?

Stick to swimming, Ion.
But you said that I am not a worthy swimmer.
Me I said that you are bogus and that I am a more worthy swimmer than you are.
Again, I think that you are confused here...
"So learn the legitimate words in the U.S. because you are in the U.S.."
Would that be referring to the words in the English Language Dictionaries (commonly in use here in the goold old U.S.), which lists both "recognize" and "recognise" as legitmate varients?
Wow, I shoulda used spell-check, but who can trust MS word knowing how unaccurate it is.
Well folks, it's been fun, but I have to disqualify myself from further discussion here.
You see, I've been an English-language speller since an early age
And that's the last time I go on this forum after a couple of beers.
This is the BEST ION thread YET!!!
Better than the infamous 'calculus' thread, where our genius engineer/swimming marvel/english expert defined that english word to mean simple arithmetic, and had the same same gall as shown here to say that several nations of english speakers, physicists, and mathematicians were wrong!
Ion - in the same post that you used 'unqualifications' you used the word 'copeout.' Do me a favor and try to find *that* in your spell checker. Incidentally, your posts are full of misspellings, grammar errors, and awkward sentences -- do the smart thing and avoid criticizing others so that others don't get on your case. I'm sure that there are a few english teachers on this forum. If not, I have done my share of correcting college essays (and you should be proud that you would not be the worst writer I have seen (but you would be in the bottom quartile)) so I can take on the burden, if you insist on being stupid.
Ion,
Are you teaching everyone the English language or is Microsoft teaching you?
So while you'll corrting everbodies elses uses of these English Languages, have fun corrting these one.
Just giving you something to do since you don't have anything better to do.
