I am in no way affiliated with these people, just passing along what might be helpful information for you folks in the DC/Maryland/VA area who wear Speedo suits.
Today I bought several jammers at the Speedo store on M Street in Georgetown for $13 and $19 each. The store is going out of business and clearing out their stock. They have a lot more womens' suits left than mens' suits, but there are still quite a few mens' suits on the racks. They don't have any accessories left(goggles, etc.), but they still have swimsuits, warmups, jackets and t-shirts.
Currently everything is at 50% off the marked price, and much of the inventory is already marked down. Hence my $30 jammers for $13 and a pair of silly beach trunks for $7. The clerk said they may go to 70% off as they approach closing, which will happen whenever everything is gone. They will not accept cash at this point, only credit cards, and they say all sales are final. No returns, because the store won't be there.
Considering how quickly some of us go through suits, it's kinda nice to get a big discount and stock up. I now have suits stockpiled for the next two to three years.
Just thought some of y'all might like to know.

Speedo Authentic Fitness stores nationwide are closing. Speedo is downsizing to a wholesale and web-based retail business. About a month before each store closing, the merchandise in that store goes from 30% to 50% off, and then in the last week or two, it goes to 70% off. When it goes to 70% off, the store clears out in a day or two (so if you want something, you might not want to wait until this point). Here in LA, the Century City store closed in January, and the Santa Monica one is closing in March or April (can't remember -- SM store was still at 30% when the CC store closed). I hit the CC store a few times when it was 50% off (went during my lunch breaks so had limited time and Had to go back) and then was lucky enough to go the morning it went to 70%. The next day, the store was almost empty. (Okay, I admit to going six times in two weeks....) I won't be needing suits, goggles, sweatshirts, caps, shorts, backpacks, gym clothes or sandals for a couple years, at least.... Some of the stuff I got was already on sale, so 50-70% off the sale prices left me paying $10 for some suits, $2.50 for board shorts (got them for everyone I knew), $12.50 for really nice women's hooded sweatshirt jackets....
