Does anybody else out there have frequent dreams (when asleep) about swimming? ....I seem to be forever dreaming I'm swimming in some way. Is it that swimmers often dream of swimming, as say a cyclist dreams about cycling confused:
I was a very active sleeper!
One night I went running full sprint down the hall and into the closed door leading to the garage. Maybe I was late for swimming?! My family came running and in the morning I didn't remember a thing.
I do remember one night though waking myself out of a dream where I was swimming. When I woke myself up I was going back and forth from my window sill to the dresser in my room, across my bed. I was actually doing turns!
And whenever I went to "away" meets with my Mom we'd share a bed. In the morning she would tell me that I was swimming in my sleep. I didn't believe it at first, then I saw the bruises on her legs where I had been "kicking".
Ah, the love and patience of a mother... :)
