Does anybody else out there have frequent dreams (when asleep) about swimming? ....I seem to be forever dreaming I'm swimming in some way. Is it that swimmers often dream of swimming, as say a cyclist dreams about cycling confused:

I have never had a dream about swimming. I've had dreams about drowning, however.
Sometimes I dream about running -- freely, effortlessly and without pain -- something that I can no longer do in real life (bad knees, bad foot, bad hip).
Most of the dreams I remember have to do with being on a campus-like setting. Not surprising, since I spent 32 years of my life in school, as either a student or a faculty member. Sometimes I'll dream I have a calculus test to take, then suddenly remember that I taught the subject for twelve years.
On rare occasions I dream that I can fly through the air by flapping my arms and thinking light thoughts. Awake, I have never been able to do that.
