Dreams about swimming ?

It's crazy, but I dream about swimming and water most nights of the week. I've tried to figure out why I dream about swimming, swimming pools, open fresh water, ocean water, and bridges over water. where I grew up in Portsmouth, Ohio there was a gigantic pool called Dreamland. It was gigantic, and about a decade or so ago they tore it out. That pool is in my dreams all of the time,as is the Ohio river. Also, I think the water is correlated with how I feel--if I feel upset, or stressed then I dream about dark or dirty water. If I feel great then I dream about clean and clear water. It's really strange. Sometimes I dream that it's winter and there's an outdoor pool that's 3/4 full. And, it seems ok to get in it even though it's a little dirty--and then I'm doing laps, and the pool is nice and big and allows me to swim at least a 25. The whole time though, I'm aware that it's a little weird, but I'm ok with it... Talk about weird... Maybe I need a shrink!
