I did ladder set 25 to 200 then 200 to 25metres about 1800 metres i think it totals up to..the pool was awash with not only HEADUP BREASTROKERS!!!! but also HEADUP FREESTYLERS...????WHAT????i was lucky to do the distance i did...i think these were the annual new years resolutioners that tend to fade away soon(thanks be to god most high)anyone else get a swim in???

I actually experienced the opposite today.
I have only been swimming for a little over a year and always at the same Y. I had no idea what temperature the water was, but it always seemed fine.
Today, I got to the Y and there was a sign up that said they were having problems with the pool heating system and apologized that the temperature was only 81.5 degrees. I asked what it normally is and they said 86!
What a difference. I had so much more energy. (Although it was a shock getting in!:eek: Maybe I can sabotage the heating system for my future workouts .....
