How do you keep track of your meters swam? I always forget where I am...and probably either over or under swim most of the time.
Believe me, I'd rather just swim the 1000, rather than make it a 1300.
Especially for the postal swim---my lands, how do you keep track of that???!!!

Well the postal swim requires you have someone record your splits, so you (the swimmer) don't need to count.
In general, though, use the pace clock. If you know your pace per 100 you'll know if you've done a 300 versus a 350, etc.
Actually the only time I find myself losing count much is during warmup. I guess I'm just not "dialed in" yet and lose my concentration.
