Place to Swim in DC

I am coming to DC next week staying at the Hay Adams on 16th and H. I can only swim on Thursday morning and am having a very difficult time finding a suitable place to swim. I would love some suggestions of pools at least 25 yds long and under 84 degrees. I don't mind taking the metro or a cab. I appreciate any help.

now, it's been a few years for me...but when I worked in DC, I worked in Georgetown, and found a pool very close to the law firm Wilmer Cuttler and Pickering. In fact I was able to walk right across the street during lunch. If you'll be in Georgetown, I recommend finding that pool--as it was terrific, and very simple. There was an entire pool dedicated for lap swimming. Although I don't remember the name of the pool, it is on 25th and M street, just behind the building of Wimer Cutler & Pickering.
