Why do you use your specific handle

Hi, This does not have much to do with swimming, but I was just wondering how people come up with their handles (your alias that you use for your name). Do you have a specific meaning or did somebody just give you this nickname? Mine was given partially tot me by my brother-in-law, who thought that hans was a Dutch name (i am Dutch) and I like James bond, although he is a bad swimmer...

My handle is easy, the only stroke I really do well is breaststroke. My car plate says 200 BRST, back from the days when I was a masters all american in the 200 meter ***. I get kidded I need to change it to 50 BRST as that is about all I can do now. Maybe even 25 BRST! There are a few handles on butterfly and there is FastION. We all are in this for the enjoyment and fun, so our handles reflect this. Wayne McCauley
