Women's Tech Suits - open back vs. closed back

Any opinions on closed back tech suits out there? I've worn a few different open back speedos and tried on a few other brands. I know my size and prefer the speedo, and am thinking about trying a speedo closed back. Anyone try it and hate it (or love it)? Would it be the same size as the open back? (the size chart is the same). Any thoughts are appreciated!

  • I find the closed backs actually easier to get on.... My backside doesn't get stuck in the open back part of the suit, and I don't really worry about ripping it as much. The key is not letting it bunch up- keep it as spread out as possible. The second it bunches up and rolls, it's such a pain to put on. The Speedo LZR elite and TYR Avictor Prelude closed back fit me best- long legs, short torso. Dolfin and Arena are too baggy in the torso, and gape in the water. I slightly prefer the Speedo, the comfort straps are actually pretty comfortable.
