I am new to this forum and new to USMS.......I have been away from swimming for over 20 years and am going to jump back in next week. My question - are there any good hair products to keep us blondes from turning green? Or should I just resort to wearing a cap?
Thanks for any input.........

See my page "Swim Caps and Hair Care for Swimmers" Any questions about the subject are probably covered!
It is true that the chemicals (copper) are the worst culprits for the green color. Also the asprin and belive it or not ketchup tips can work. My advise wet hair in the shower to fill hair shafts, wear a swim cap and shower again with a conditioner..any type they are all chemicals, or try some of the tips for a really watertight swim cap, as the page says a really water tight cap will be a more tight fit theres no loose cap that can keep out pool water. The strap type caps will keep out more water then the thin strapless caps. the bubble ones do not pull hair, the soild one do a bit, both have better sealing then the thin race caps.
