Just thought I would start a thread which didn't have deep philosophical overtones so that we all can have fun with the new forum software. Based upon personal experience, I will start a list of “You know you are a swimmer when …” with the following:
You know you are a swimmer when you leave work in the rain and you can smell the chlorine coming off of your hair.

In the battle of getting out of bed at 4:45 am, sleep never wins.
You know your a swimmer when you sit here and read all the threads and can relate to every single one.
You know your a swimmer when rather doing lunch at work, you go to the Y to swim a few thousands yards instead
..a swimmer when you have a swim cap tan across your forehead.
..an open water swimmer when you show up to work on Monday with race numbers still printed on your arms.
..a swimmer when you're idea of doing laundry is making sure you have clean, dry towels.
..a California (or other sunbelt state) swimmer when you're tan doesn't fade even in winter.

Along these lines...
You know you're an Arizona swimmer when your entire pre-swim streching program consists of trying to completely lather your own back with sunscreen.
