Just thought I would start a thread which didn't have deep philosophical overtones so that we all can have fun with the new forum software. Based upon personal experience, I will start a list of “You know you are a swimmer when …” with the following:
You know you are a swimmer when you leave work in the rain and you can smell the chlorine coming off of your hair.
Anyone care to add to the list?

When your neighbours asked your spouse why there are often arms moving near your apartment's windows. Honestly that's one of the most embarrasing moment in my life.

Hey Jim,
There are certain things one can deduce from such a statement Wheeler.
If so, congratulations, and you are correct my friend.

PS Where ya swimming these days, the Richmond Plunge is closed???
you know you're a swimmer when...
halfway through your workout, you feel too wiped out to finish the whole thing...So you finish the whole thing and then add another 400 on the end just for good measure...
When you own at least a dozen suits....Some are pratice suits that need to be layered....Some are practice suits in good shape.....Some are for general meets....Some are for the REALLY important meets.....And yah, maybe if you dig around in the back of your closet you can find that one beach suit that you bought ages ago.
A dozen? Man, I passed that number ages ago ... I'm actually emabarrased to admit how many suit I own ... I definitely have categories like that though ... I have a drawer for good suits (that aren't meet suits), a drawer for top layer suits, and a place for "technical" suits ...
