You know you are a swimmer when ...

Just thought I would start a thread which didn't have deep philosophical overtones so that we all can have fun with the new forum software. Based upon personal experience, I will start a list of “You know you are a swimmer when …” with the following: You know you are a swimmer when you leave work in the rain and you can smell the chlorine coming off of your hair. Anyone care to add to the list?

You know you're a (visually impaired) swimmer when sleeping in on an early morning workout day seems odd because you don't have a ride to the pool that day. I hope that never happens again. I missed out on a workout yesteday because of that and it feels just so strange waking up at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time when I usually get up three hours earlier to go swimming. You know you're a swimmer when a long-course is something you think of on days you don't go swimming. This was submitted by a friend You know you're a swimmer when going to the Y's BATH WATER WARM Pool sounds nasty. Words couldn't be any more true! The Downtown Y where I live has a pool that fits this description a little too well. :Yuck!:
