You know you are a swimmer when ...

Just thought I would start a thread which didn't have deep philosophical overtones so that we all can have fun with the new forum software. Based upon personal experience, I will start a list of “You know you are a swimmer when …” with the following: You know you are a swimmer when you leave work in the rain and you can smell the chlorine coming off of your hair. Anyone care to add to the list?

If you go from store to store desperately trying to find your favorite sports drink, you might be a swimmer. If the first place you go when you're stressed out is a swimming pool, you might be a swimmer. If you sweat chlorine even after showering, you might be a swimmer. If your screenname has something to do with water or the pool, you might be a swimmer. If you cut yourself every time you shave, because you only do it 3 or 4 times a year and are out of practice, you might be a female swimmer. and my own additions to shipley's: you know you've been swimming for a long long time when your friends and family don't even blink twice when you say "I only see him without his clothes on"... :D if you sweat chlorine even after showering multiple times , you might be a swimmer... and if every single screenname you've ever had has something to do with water or the pool, you might be a swimmer...
