Just thought I would start a thread which didn't have deep philosophical overtones so that we all can have fun with the new forum software. Based upon personal experience, I will start a list of “You know you are a swimmer when …” with the following:
You know you are a swimmer when you leave work in the rain and you can smell the chlorine coming off of your hair.
Anyone care to add to the list?

When we go away I always look up swimming pools on ymca.net and swimmersguide.com, and a lot of the time I do end up getting up at 5:30 and eating a power bar on the way to the pool. What is really funny is that hotels will usually say, "But we have a pool here", not realizing that a 15 yard pool with a rope across the middle and stairs at the end is pretty useless as a SWIMMING pool.
