Just thought I would start a thread which didn't have deep philosophical overtones so that we all can have fun with the new forum software. Based upon personal experience, I will start a list of “You know you are a swimmer when …” with the following:
You know you are a swimmer when you leave work in the rain and you can smell the chlorine coming off of your hair.
Anyone care to add to the list?
......While you are recovering from shoulder surgery, you break down in tears while doing a load of whites because the smell of bleach reminds you how much you miss swimming!!!
......Your idea of a perfect Mother's Day is going for a swim!
......You get up at 6:00 during your vacation so you can get your swim in before your family wakes up!
......When looking for a new house, one of your requirements is a neighborhood with a 25yd. pool!!
......You actually start shaking from the adrenaline rush while watching swimming competition on TV.
......YOU CAN NOT IMAGINE YOUR LIFE WITHOUT THIS WONDERFULL SPORT!!!!
