You know you are a swimmer when ...

Just thought I would start a thread which didn't have deep philosophical overtones so that we all can have fun with the new forum software. Based upon personal experience, I will start a list of “You know you are a swimmer when …” with the following: You know you are a swimmer when you leave work in the rain and you can smell the chlorine coming off of your hair. • You know you’re a swimmer when…. The mention of the ’76 Olympics brings back such strong emotions. Both positive and negative. The US women being cheated, The US Men dominating (10 gold, 10 silver, 6 bronze out of 11 individual events, plus Gold in both relays) And the truly amazing women’s 4 X 100 Free relay of Kim Peyton, Wendy Boglioli, Jill Sterkel, and Shirley Babashoff who, against all odds, took GOLD.
