You know you are a swimmer when ...

Just thought I would start a thread which didn't have deep philosophical overtones so that we all can have fun with the new forum software. Based upon personal experience, I will start a list of “You know you are a swimmer when …” with the following: You know you are a swimmer when you leave work in the rain and you can smell the chlorine coming off of your hair. Anyone care to add to the list?

You know you are a swimmer when... You have to stop swimming for 2 years and notice a decline in the quality of life. When you do laps for the first time in 2 years, and the night before you can't get any sleep because you are SO EXCITED!!! When you swim for a couple hours in the morning, and then in the afternoon get depressed because you aren't swimming so go back and swim a couple more hours. Then, at night, you are looking at your clock every 5 seconds to see if it's morning yet. This process repeats day after day...even weekends. I'm a swimmer, swimming was my life 2 years ago, and I'm SOOOOOOO HAPPY I'M BACK!!! ^---And only a true swimmer would say that. ;)
