You know you are a swimmer when ...

Just thought I would start a thread which didn't have deep philosophical overtones so that we all can have fun with the new forum software. Based upon personal experience, I will start a list of “You know you are a swimmer when …” with the following: You know you are a swimmer when you leave work in the rain and you can smell the chlorine coming off of your hair. Anyone care to add to the list?

You know you are a swimmer when you don't know how many laps you have swum at the end of a workout because you keep track of your workouts in sets of so many yards (or meters) per set. Don't you just love it when a water aerobe or a floater asks how many laps you swim - they seem to think that you swim the same number of laps each day. I used to do the math and come up with a number for them, but now I just tell them the number of yards and let them do the math if they are so inclined.
