In a nutshell, it is suggested there was a current in the pool that gave some lanes an unfair advantage in the 50s. Maybe some end lanes are not so bad after all ;)
This should make for scintillating conversations in our Records and Tabulations meeting. Will we need to get Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler results along with pool length certification before results will be counted?
