Has anyone been able to get this to work on an Android tablet. I have tried it with mine and it appears to load something, but there is nothing on the screen.
I just tried it on a Samsung Galaxy Tab (10.1). The first time I loaded it, it froze after two pages, but the next time it worked pretty much fine. I found it much preferable to trying to read it on the computer screen, though there were some slight distortions to the font.
Do you own an e-reader, though? You might be surprised just how "book-like" they are. I had my doubts about them, too, before getting a Kindle a few years ago as a gift. Now I'd only read a print book very grudgingly.
e-readers are pretty book-like these days, but at least according to the professional reading in my field, tablets are projected to replace the e-ink readers. I don't find tablets as enjoyable to read on, probably in large part because of all the other distractions available.
I'll spare you the diatribe about e-book purchase/use models, particularly where libraries are concerned... unless, of course, any of you are suffering from insomnia.
