I've used KT tape on my back and shoulders before while swimming.It sticks fine and I had no problems.You can't use it during a meet unless you get prior permission from the referee, which probably will require a doctors note of necessity.
+1 to Allen's whole statement. I've used it on my back through 3 workouts (and on a total of 5 days) and it was just barely starting to come off on the edges at the end of the third workout. Now, this was KT pro tape, so I don't know if this will apply to the regular kind as well.
I've been using it on my elbow. I really didn't believe it would work but I think it does help. I like the KT brand the best. I only get one or two workouts at the most out of mine. Shaving the arm helped the stick last longer although my arms aren't hairy at all. I think you can purchase a skin prep that makes the stick last longer; I want to try it but haven't had time to get to the store to buy it. You can google KT tape and they have videos of taping techniques for almost any body part.

Thanks for the replies.... My PT just put some KT tape on my achilles. So far it did great after an hour in the pool. We had also talked about the h20 tape.... In light of the recent comments, I don't think I will have any problems keeping the KT tape on.
