How do goggles get scratched?
They're generally only in contact with water.

I keep my vanquisher optical goggles in a case (like this one www.team-aquatic.com/.../index.php ) to prevent them from getting scratched, which is also useful as a safe place to keep my glasses while I'm swimming. It has a little carabiner to hang from a hook inside the locker so I can find it easily once I'm done, too.
