What do you mean "I don't get to swim in the summer" ? All the pools near you are closed?
No, they're open, but in my job career takes over in the summer. I'm a line mechanic for the largest apple and cherry producing company in the state of Washington, Stemilt Growers. The cherry season hits here around the 2nd week of June, and the way they have the fruit arranged here in the varying elevations, we run cherries hardcore until the end of August. The OT is good, but not much other time for activities other that trying to get dinner for the kids. :) My wife works for the same company, but on the swing shift.
I'll be super tired and worn out from my 60-70 hour physical work days in coveralls running all around the line, in 100+ degree days.
Yeah, I would LOVE to be able to swim, but life gets in the way at times. :) The good news is that my mother in law (who lives with us) is not going to work the cherries this summer, so I might actually get a chance to take a dip in the pool a few times a week this summer, which is way better than cold turkey for 2 months!!
