Results: www.clubsonline.com.au/.../index.htm So, this happened: 5 THORPE, IAN 29 SOPAC, NSW 1:50.79 1:49.16B 815 r:+0.77 25.15 51.78 (26.63) 1:19.87 (28.09) 1:49.16 (29.29) I dare say that is a good prelim time. Also, Huegill is looking strong in the semis of my favorite non-Olympic event: 1 HUEGILL, GEOFFR 33 SOPAC, NSW 23.74 23.58 860

  • Wasn't he training for over a year? That's a lot of time to train for the 100 free Is it, though, if you've been completely out of the water for a few years? Thorpe probably wasn't in the same kind of shape as someone like Brendan Hansen who was able to get back much more quickly. If you've seen photos of Thorpe before his comeback it was pretty clear he was really out of shape.
