As I entered my yardage in my Fitness Log today, I noticed that we are 20% through the year. I also noticed that I’m about 10 miles behind my goal pace. My new mini goal is to get back on pace by the end of March… I want that Nike draw string bag!!!
I’m finding that having a Goal and the annoying reminder “You'll need to pick up the pace to achieve your goal this year:” is actually working to get me to the pool on days that I would in the past have skipped.
How about you?
I'm looking to get that bag this year as well. I usually check to see my progress, and I check the daily totals once or twice a week (depending on how close TG and tjrpatt are based on their blogs). It's a great feature - thanks!
Although I checked off "I track my workouts and use other GTD participants pace as an incentive," I didn't start doing doubles just to stay ahead of tjrpatt. He's driving the bus for our age group again, at least until the next flu bug ambushes him.
