But before NCAAs are the conference meets, please provide links and let's talk about em.
UT swims next week but several conference championships are next week.
SwimmingWorld will cover it too
I was there tonight. Very exciting! A couple observations. Tom Shields has incredible underwaters. Texas is behind, but they sure aren't going away. Great come from behind victory tonight in the 800 relay. It could be a barn burner tomorrow!
One more thing, Austen Thompson split 1:00 on the *** leg of his 400 IM. This was the easiest looking 1:00 100 *** I've ever seen in my life. Honestly it looked like he was loafing.
Last night was a milestone for ND men's swimming when So. Frank Dyer placed 4th in the 200 Fr, (1:34.00) and scored the first ND men's points ever in the championships. I think only a handful of male swimmers have qualified in the past.
Thanks Ande for posting the links to watch it happen, and good luck to all of you Texas, Cal, Arizona, Auburn, MI, and other fans and alums. Looks like quite a battle today and likely to produce incredible swims today, both prelims and finals tonight.
Thank you Elaine!
And I should mention that--with apologies to Tennessee Williams--I owe the great seat I had to the kindness of forumites. Well, one forumite in particular, Mr. PWB! The seat is in the second row near the turn end of the pool.

Nice going, Patrick! That was a great vantage point for some close-up action photography. :applaud:

It's looks like you owe Patrick a :chug: just like Elaine!! :D
Awesome shots. It's almost like I'm there live!
