Colleges do NOT “have to get rid of other programs” they can work to keep and expand varsity and club offerings. But they need to be willing to work.
Really? You are right. They do not "have" to get rid of anything, but the reality is, it is easier to drop programs that cost money than... aw, what's the use. UT has a very young team. Look at the SEC results, many youngsters on the UT team. Lars had them prepared. They need to add some milers.
