    Ooooooouuuuuuucccccccccchhhhhhhh I was reading through some conference championship results and came across this 1000 free result. (Yes, some conferences run the 1000 in their championship meets) He nicely dropped his time from 10:04 to 9:43, and negative split the race, but was DQ'd... due to a false start! Name and school changed to protect the guilty... -- Redacted, Johnny FR College 10:04.87 DQ False start r:+0.79 26.84 56.81 (29.97) 1:27.23 (30.42) 1:57.30 (30.07) 2:27.21 (29.91) 2:57.08 (29.87) 3:27.02 (29.94) 3:56.77 (29.75) 4:26.05 (29.28) 4:55.52 (29.47) 5:24.50 (28.98) 5:53.26 (28.76) 6:22.29 (29.03) 6:51.36 (29.07) 7:20.50 (29.14) 7:49.68 (29.18) 8:18.53 (28.85) 8:47.38 (28.85) 9:15.87 (28.49) DQ (27.77) How can it be a false start when the reaction time is +.79?
