The girls on my club team wear them. According to the coach, they wear them only when AF is in town. I can only confirm that they wear them sometimes, but not other times.
(my personal feeling on drag suits is I wear one first half of the season, swimming with that extra resistance. I then peel down to just a brief in the back half of the season when I am working on more race rehearsal stuff.)
