I swam at that meet and it was well run, comparable to US Nationals. Montreal will host the worlds in 2014. I doubt that the meet directors did anything wrong. Canadians have National records too and set many of them during this particular meet. I can't imagine what the problem is.:canada:
I will be attending the Canadian Nationals this spring in Kelowna, B.C., and would hope for the same successful meet you're describing here. I'd like for my times to count for TT purposes and so on...:canada:
Yes, the Canadian Nationals will be on the West Coast so I assume they will be right around the corner from you.
Montreal is a great city. I think they will do a good job at Worlds. I have been to 3 Canadian Nationals (Montreal twice and Toronto) and all of them have been well run. This is the first time there has been a problem with the results.
Montreal is French speaking and the city is unique, old and historic. It has a European feel to it and is only a 9 or 10 hour drive from Atlantic City. :canada:
Hmmmm... www.usms.org/.../meet.php it *does* say that it isn't recognized by USMS.
All meets sanctioned by USA-S or by another FINA member organization are automatically recognized by USMS.
I'll look into this meet, I'm pretty sure I know what happened here.

I eked it out on the 400 IM again. Not bad since the only time I swam it I was coughing up a lung for a week before.

I'm there in the 200 fly and 400 IM and a relay from my team is in the top 10 as well. I wasn't ON that relay, but I can bask in the reflected glory - I'm just glad to have a team at all! So fun.

In addition, 2003 Canadian Nationals were at this same pool and they were counted for TT.
